The 2024 Presidential Election is the most important election in our lifetime. Go to the polls armed with the knowledge that your correct information is on the voter rolls.

It’s the beginning of summer, and everyone is planning beach vacations and barbeques. The last thing anyone wants to think about is the September 3rd Primary Election or the November 5th Presidential Election.

Voter Registration Status

Everyone is in summer mode, but now is the time to ensure your voting information is correctly recorded. It only takes a minute. Doing this early will allow time to rectify any errors that could prevent you from casting your vote.

I recommend, once you have confirmed your status, or made any changes, that you save the screenshot either digitally or by printing a hardcopy, and bring it with you on election day. Also, save any confirmation letter sent by mail.

Know Your Voting Location

I will discuss this topic ad nauseum because it is vitally important, especially if you live in a city with several precincts at different locations.

Now is the time to confirm your voting location. Know your Ward and Precinct number, especially if you live in a city. I work as an election clerk at Boston City Hall, and we have redirected HUNDREDS of people who came to the wrong voting location.

FIND MY POLLING PLACE

Very Important: Early Voting locations may be different from the place you need to vote on Election Day. Most of the people we have redirected at Boston City Hall thought they could vote there on Election Day because it is an Early Voting location.

You must vote in your particular Ward and Precinct on Election Day.

No one knows if there will be long lines and chaos at the polls on November 5, 2024. Don’t let it deter you. Information is vital. So I recommend re-checking all your information immediately before you head to the polls.

You can face Election Day with unwavering confidence and determination if you secure your voting strategy well beforehand.
