Dandelions 101
To pluck or not to pluck, that is the question…
Friend or Foe, I could go on forever!
Obviously, they are our Best Friends!

Let’s get some facts:
- Dandelions are 100% edible!
- They provide a natural source of Vitamin A, B, C, K, and E, and many minerals too!
- The root is a valuable source of inulin which helps maintain healthy gut bacteria. Inulin may also help manage blood sugar levels and relieve constipation. A clean house is a happy house!
- Dandelions have beta-carotene, which can help your body remove free radicals! We don’t want Radicals, even if they are Free! Think of free radicals like a bag of trash in your body that never gets put in the dumpster! Beta carotene is the trash truck for those Free Radicals! Out you go!
- Anti-Inflamatory! This, in my opinion, is its most valuable benefit because of the combination of highly absorbable vitamins and minerals, and polyphenols.
- Your liver loves Dandelions, and you need your liver, so give your liver some of D-Lions! Dandelions help your body remove excess fat stored in the liver.
Are Dandelions Anti-Viral and Anti-Bacterial? You know where I’m going, right?
A clean body is a happy body! You don’t need much. Less is more with the Dandelion!
Pick them off an unfertilized, non-toxic hill or field. Or, simply plant some self-health in your garden!
