The Emergency Assistance Placement Data Dashboard provides daily updates on shelter placements in Massachusetts cities and towns.

“Governor Healey announced that the state does not have enough shelter units, service providers, or funding to continue to safely and responsibly expand shelter capacity beyond approximately 7,500 families – which is expected to be reached by this Wednesday or Thursday.”1

Keep track and stay informed about the number of families currently enrolled in the Commonwealth Shelter System. Note: The data does not distinguish between Massachusetts citizens and migrants (undocumented or otherwise). Also, the numbers are presented as ranges rather than exact numbers.
