Will Republicans ever coalesce and get organized? God knows the Mass GOP won’t do it for us, nor do we want them to if they deliver the way Ronna McDaniel’s crew did in 2022. Why was that? Because the consultant-centric RNC has no interest in winning elections for America First candidates, the candidates that represent what now is the majority of the Republican party and many Independents. In case you haven’t noticed, the Republican Party is trending closer to the “old” Democrat party that once represented the working and middle classes. What’s left in between? The Uniparty – the elites, the donor class, the corporatists, the Globalists, and all the industrial complexes. Scary stuff for anyone that is not them.
So, what does this have to do with our little puzzle piece on the east coast? I contend that Ronna’s Mini-Me at the helm of our GOP and our Republican representatives are not interested in addressing the kitchen table issues facing us regular folk. They are the loyal opposition, commonly referred to as RINOs. Being a deep blue state, this is no surprise. But it is no excuse to lie down and let bad actors commandeer our state.
What is the solution to this problem? Put up our own America First candidates, vet the candidates that run as Republicans or Independents, and (for starters, take a page out of the Dems’ playbook) unite behind them! That goes for the voters and the candidates! We must present ourselves as a bloc and support one another’s campaigns at every opportunity.
As the adage goes, “If you want something done right, then do it yourself.” My suggestion to all Republicans, Independents, and all Massachusettsians seeking a fair and transparent government: GET BUSY!
